Hualian - River Tracing
We will take the morning train from Taipei to Hualian ($500). Then after booking into Amigo\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s hostel ($450) and getting some lunch we will go river tracing. The activity will take about 4 hours and includes transport for $800 per person.
Hualian - Night Market
In the evening we will return to Hualian to visit the night market and sample to local delicacies.
Ruishui - White Water Rafting
In the morning we will take the train to Ruishui ($200). From there we will do some white-water rafting for most of the day. ($650 inc lunch and transport back to start point)
Taidong - Aboriginal Meal
In the afternoon/evening we will take the train to Taidong. ($300) We will check into the Aborignal Culture Hostel (about $400) and then go to eat some traditional aboriginal food at Mibanai.
Gaotai - Paragliding
We will take the train to Luye and then a taxi up to Gaotai ($300). We will take part in some paragliding and sample some local tea. ($1500)
Bunong Tribe - Culture Visit
We will arrange transport to the bunong tribe (most likely taxi $100). At Bunong Tribe ($200) we will watch some aboriginal performances and have a free guideded tour of the tribe.
Beinan Culture Park
In the late afternoon we will travel by taxi/train to Beinan Culture Park (Free) where we will look at some of the archaeological sites. Then we will head to the high observing platform to watch the sunset over the Taidong plain.
Museum of Prehistory - Water Dance
We will eat some dinner nearby and then head to the Museum of Prehistory at 8pm to watch the water dance performance. Then we will head back to the Aboriginal Culture hostel ($400)
Jinlun - Wild Hot Springs
We will take the train/bus to Jinlun ($120) then walk upto the natural hot springs by the river.
Zhiben - Forest Recreation Area
We will then take the bus/train to Zhiben ($100) and visit the Zhiben Forest Recreation Area ($100). We will look at a waterfall and walk around the old trees inside the park.
Taipei
Then in the afternoon we will catch the train back to Taipei ($800)
