Do you still remember the sceneries appeared in the Taiwan movies?

每年夏天,似乎都要為平淡的生活帶來意義。旅行台灣就差不多我們倆的指定計畫. 不過, 走馬看花的觀光景點, 大吃大喝的購物團 . . . 台灣應該不只是這樣吧!

We love to find something meaningful to do every summer. Travelling around Taiwan is something that we must do every year. However, we are so sick of visiting those touristy spots. Taiwan should be so much more than just eating and shopping.

我們兩個是來自香港20來歲,性格完全大不同的男女. 一個好動,熱愛電影; 一個文靜;熱愛美食. 如果當電影中的寶島風景搭上各地平民化的美食, 會是怎樣的一次旅行?

We come from Hong Kong. Although we are both youngsters aged around 20, we have totally different personalities. One of us is active and loves movie. One of us is quiet and loves eating. Could you imagine what kind of trip would it be if we mix our ideas of movies and food together?

一般觀眾對台灣電影的印象, 相信還是停留在九份的悲情城市, 或是早己成為旅遊景點的海角七號. 但更多美麗的電影場景你可能還不知道. 

在火車鐵路旁的小鎮尋找 [沉睡的青春](KEEPING WATCH), 淡水出現[不能說的秘密](SECRET), 吹起[九降風](WINDS OF SEPTEMBER)的新竹, 花蓮渡過的[盛夏光年](ETERNAL SUMMER), 在台東海岸的[最遙遠的距離](THE MOST DISTANT COURSE), 甚至你不相信在台灣出現的沙漠[松鼠自殺事件](AMOUR-LEGENDE)等等…. 原來銀幕中出現過的台灣美景, 不只墾丁的海角七號(CAPE NO.7).

When talking about scenes of Taiwan movies, most of you might immediately think of Chiufen from ‘A City of Sadness’ or Kenting from ‘Cape No. 7’. Actually there are so many more interesting places which have appeared in some Taiwan movies that you might not know. For example, a small town located next to the train railway from ‘Keeping Watch’, Danshui from ‘Secret’, Hsinchu from ‘Winds of September’, Hualien from ‘Eternal Summer’, the coastline along Taitung from ‘The Most Distant Course’. You might not believe there is a desert in Taiwan that has appeared in a Taiwanese movie ‘Amour-Legende’! There are actually so many lovely sceneries that has appeared in thousands of Taiwan movies other than Kenting from the popular movie ‘Cape No. 7’.

我們將會從高雄出發,先前往屏東九棚大沙漠, 再以鐵路火車前往台南,回程往新竹台北, 沿途發掘更多旅遊指南沒介紹到的平民美食, 以最低價錢吃到更多台灣獨有古早味美食.

We are going to start from Kaohsiung, then travel to Pingtung and Tainan by the train. Finally we’ll stop by Hsinchu before  back to Taipei. We are going to find delicious dishes that are not being introduced in the tour guides throughout our journey. Our aim is to find food with low prices, but yet, with a wonderful taste of Taiwan!
